Yesterday I picked up a tank of gas for my MIG welder. Nice little place in Santa Ana called Praxair. They hooked me right up. I also heard from Bo, who informed me that the steel for the stretch is due to be delivered early next week. There's a good chance that within a few days, work will begin on the chassis stretch.
